Overview

“De Viertel” is situated near the old textile centre of Ronse. The large estate at the foot of the Muziekberg is the ideal place to stay if you want to enjoy the numerous walking and cycling possibilities of the green region of the Flemish Ardennes.

A bivouac is available at the foot of De Fiertel, on the same domain. The fully restored farmhouse "Lorette offers accommodation for 25 persons. It is equipped with A fully equipped kitchen with private cooking facilities (meals are of course also available at De Fiertel) // Sanitary provisions (4 toilets, 2 showers with hot and cold running water and washing basins) // central heating // A room to work, play and eat // Sleeping room for 25 persons at the fully isolated attic (no beds) // 3 petanque lanes in front of the farmhouse

On a 2 ha terrain, a completely new camp site is being built within the domain. The terraced site will offer camping space both to individuals and groups. The site will be equipped with all facilities of a modern camp site.

(1) As a non-member you can also acquire your membership through the special introductory offer. You will be allowed a stay at a hostel without a membership card. Instead you’ll receive a guest membership card and pay a supplement per overnight stay. In exchange you’ll get a “Welcome Stamp” on your guest card. Once you have 6 stamps on your card you’ll have acquired a valid international membership and you’ll enjoy the normal tariffs. 
Mind you, you’ll be a lot cheaper off if you become a HI-member, in which case you’ll get a discount voucher as well. Keep in mind that in some countries the supplement for a “Welcome Stamp” comes more expensive than in Flanders.

  • Children discounts for families.

    • Children under 3 enjoy a free stay.

    • Children under 12 get a discount for bed and breakfast and meals when accompanied by at least one adult.

Travel Guide

Car:

- Comming from Gent, route N60 to Ronse direction Brakel.
Follow the signs "Klein Frankrijk" 5 km outside the centre Brakel, at the four lane road take the first street on your left.
- Comming from Brussels, route N8 - N48 Brussel - Ninove - Brakel - Ronse.
5 km before the center of Ronse at the end of the four lane road turn right.
