(1) As a non-member you can also acquire your membership through the special introductory offer. You will be allowed a stay at a hostel without a membership card. Instead you’ll receive a guest membership card and pay a supplement per overnight stay. In exchange you’ll get a “Welcome Stamp” on your guest card. Once you have 6 stamps on your card you’ll have acquired a valid international membership and you’ll enjoy the normal tariffs. 
Mind you, it’ll be much cheaper if you become a HI-member, in which case you’ll get a discount voucher as well. Keep in mind that in some countries the supplement for a “Welcome Stamp” is more expensive than in Flanders.

  • Children discounts for families.

    • Children under 3 enjoy a free stay.

    • Children under 12 get a discount of ±20% for bed and breakfast and meals when accompanied by at least one adult.

  • Group tariffs are the same as the individual adult tariff.

    • groups must be in possession of a group membership card. 

    • Every 16th person of a group stays free (possession of a group membership card and half pension required).

Car:

- Via E40 (A10) to Ostend. Drive to the centre and turn right at the Casino into "Van Iseghemlaan". Turn right into "Vlaanderenstraat" (4th street on your right). Turn left into "Langestraat". The hostel is at number 82 on your left.

- Travelling by Thalys to Oostende
- A 10 minute walk from the station through the streets of Ostend or along the harbour. As you reach the end of the quay and the first strip of beach comes into sight, "Langestraat" is on your right. The hostel is another 200 meters from there on your right.

- Brussels national airport at 123 km.
- The Regional airport "Oostende" is located at 4 km of the hostel.
